They've never covered Creep. And please tell me you're not talking about that acoustic version of Creep that Radiohead put on the Itch and My Iron Lung EPs - that's Radiohead, not Muse, and it was cleared up long ago.
I don't want you to adore me
Don't want you to ignore me
When it pleases you
You make me sick
Because I adore you so
You wanted more than I was worth
Passing by, you light up my darkest skies
You take only seconds to draw me in
Take off your disguise
I know that underneath it's me
Don't kid yourself and don't fool yourself
This life could be the last
And we're too young to see
And we'll pray that there's no God to punish us
I know you're in this room; I'm sure I heard you sigh
Floating in between where our worlds collide
Fear, and panic in the air
I want to be free from desolation and despair
And do you think you deserve your freedom?
And I've had recurring nightmares
That I was loved for who I am
I'll show you how God
Falls asleep on the job
I'd love to hear Muse cover Snow Patrol's An Olive Grove Facing the Sea. It's a stalkery sort of song anyway, but Muse could really make it DARK. Which would be great. They'd have to change the melody a little, but it would be worth it.
My friend is obsessed with the idea of Muse covering Holding Out For a Hero by Bonnie Tyler, but she's mad anyway.
