  1. Death by curtain :'(

Looks like there's no MGW calendar for next year then, they're usually on sale by now aren't they?

    No idea mate.

And that was from Wembley. It was repaired after that, only to be broken beyond repair by accident...

    Also

See? That's all it is, and MB did mention it in an interview a while back (although he didn't say it was exactly that)

This is why certain individuals shouldn't post rumors on musewiki...

  2. Mailing list just sent this out:

Muse are pleased to add New York City to the Simulation Theory World Tour in 2019. Official Store pre-sale starts tomorrow (Tuesday 11 December) at 10am local. Members section pre-sale also begins tomorrow at 1pm local. General on sale starts Friday 14 December at 9am local.

    Special guests: Walk The Moon

  3. I have taught you well.

Also, what happened to your copper FRX Manson? I remember the bridge wasn’t working properly or something like that.

    :nerd:

I sold that one a couple months back, though it went to someone I know and he seems to like it a lot. Nothing was actually wrong with the FRX, but it did need a bit of time to be broken in and the knife edges sharpened. After that, it stayed in tune just as well as any other floyd.

    James.

    What have you done.

My bank account cannot handle this amount of want :stongue:

I thought I was doing you a favor. :ninja: You wouldn't have to buy two separate guitars if you bought something like that!

  4. great time! muse had sooooo much energy whereas GA pit was dead. typical rude ny bullshit but i went nuts. fucking nice night

Same here. Energy was great, especially earlier in the set.

Yeah, it did seem like a good amount of GA died down after the previous act. I recall MB said something like "you know this one?" when he wanted us to sing part of one of the songs.

Pretty sure that was the chorus for Uprising... luckily it seemed like most people knew it.

Tbf, think this is about as good as it could have been in the circumstances.

True - it felt a bit longer than 12 songs somehow, but I wouldn't have been against another drop D riff... or several :erm:

I like Matts new blinking jacket!

Yeah, I was wondering if that was new. It was sort of strange seeing him come out of nowhere all lit up like that, considering they didn't have the usual sort of entrance like at their own shows.

  5. I am, it's ALL about the phase. You really have to pay attention to your mic positioning. Try summing both signals to mono, as you move the mic around, you'll hear the low end get weaker where the signals are out of phase. That could be a useful effect if you reverse the polarity (of the neutron flow?) to get the bass to sum, in a similar way you would blend in a rear mic from an open back cab to get more beeeeeef.

Wish I knew about this before. I've struggled to capture the sound accurately from that 4x10 combo - mainly the extreme midrange

But yeah, I'm just thinking of using a single mic setup with a very specific #details unit with a speaker sim for running direct at the same time.

I could always try that setup with the line out and the impulse responses, but... that would be too easy.

  6. It's the LTD NW-44! I don't listen to ADTR but this guitar was too juicy to pass up.

also I'm glad its like that :LOL::LOL:

Haven't heard this but im listening to it right now. Man this is fucking sick. Not sure how I haven't heard of these guys, I'm digging the hell out of their tone right now

Not familiar with them. That comes with a BKP aftermath then?

It really is! I only heard them for the first time a few days ago. I haven't even looked at what the guitarist uses, but apparently various russian big muff type pedals

Also, a hiwatt stack is something you really don't see too often these days!

  7. Which one is that?

Also, every time you post, it's like... well, you know when the marijuana starts getting noticeable at gigs?

A bit like that. Quite a different feeling from when Bs posts. When he posts, it's more like this

2:41 when I see he's typing up a reply, and 3:10 when he hits the reply button.

...But going back to stoner rock (not really) for a minute. Have you heard this before?
