I had a dream about matt a few days after the concert in Toronto - he'd call me on my cell phone and wanted to meet so I rushed out to meet him at some corner in a university building... walked right by him but found him sitting in the corner, all by himself (kinda sad looking). He got up for a greeting and he was an entire head smaller than me (I'm 5'6"). I remember being surprised but kind of shrugged it off.

I'll keep adding as I find them... Groove Room (Kipling, north of Lake shore): weekday before 6 pm $40/3 hours after 6:00pm $40/2hours or $65/4 hours, weekends $50/4 hours. Additional Hour is $15 DC Music (Kipling, south of Bloor): small room (up to 5) and medium (up to 10) for $15 / 20 per hour (less on weekdays). amusikzone (Broadview station): various rehearsal rooms, can rent keyboard, $50-60 for 3 hours. Rehearsal Factory: hourly rehearsal rooms, no prices posted Bluewater Studios (Bloor and Lansdowne) has a piano but no prices listed (sounds professional though Music Rehearsal Toronto (Elm / McCaul) -$20/hour, $75 special 6 - 11 pm, Best Deal in Town (Cherry, south of Gardiner): $17 / hour there is many more at NOW magazine, craigslist etc. I have a feeling a deposit may be required so I can contact a couple and find out.

Maybe just jam the first time and see how it goes before we decide on recording? I'm female, by the way. And a tad older, I might add Yea, I can find a couple of places and get the prices - we're looking at hourly rate rentals, and depending on how many people we get it might be a simple room or even a room with a stage. I think I saw a rehearsal place that actually had a piano but I have to find that one again. They all typically come with at least one mic, guitar and bass amp, drum kit (sometimes no cymbal though) and a PA system. Instrumentwise, if anyone wants to play it, I can bring a Fender imitate bass or a Seagull accoustic guitar with pickup (only one of them since I have to take transit). I think I have a mic lying around somewhere, too. And a pan flute if anyone can play it

What song would you most like Muse to do a cover of?
garp replied to Kodack's topic in Songs & Releases
I have absolutely no idea why but I would love to hear them cover Blondie's Call Me. Oh never mind, figured out why.- 2,297 replies

ah, just found you guys. Hi

Ok, you guys proved me wrong about taking pictures in the pit I don't think I have yet noticed any fans in the pit with their Lumix TZ7and gear so - I usually see those with their cell phones out trying to tape a song. So to those who know what they are doing re. pit pics, yay... those who try to take pics with their awesome cell phone cameras... well, just look at those pictures from the lumix guys afterwards, will ya?

It's been a while since I've been in a pit but whatever you do, make sure to jump along with everyone else! I've seen people just stand there or jump completely against the rhythm, and unless you have this urge to be 'different', relax as much as you can and go with the flow. If you are in the front, push back if you have to without getting angry... doesn't hurt if you work on some muscle definition in your upper body before the concert. Wear something sporty (not cotton) so when you sweat, it'll dry off faster. Don't bother with a lot of makeup or made-up hair. One thing that always surprises me are people who try to take pictures in the pit... seriously??? Make up your mind, enjoy the concert in your big huddled dancey mess or stay off the pit with your camera... I've always disliked people with their elbows in my face trying to take pictures that end up crappy anyways.

Invincible is one of my favourite songs as well, other than that, City of Delusion, Citizen Erased, Hyper Music, Microcuts, Throughts of a Dying Atheist, and after that it's pretty much everything else... for some reason the first song that popped into my head was Knights of Cydonia but "noone's gonna take me alive"might be too much of an invite hmm, how about "Dont waste your time or time will waste you"?

I currently just have a treble clef + bass clef dots tattooed on my shoulder, but I am thinking of expanding on it this winter, either with parts of my name as notes or with a piece of a lyric either from Radiohead ('for a minute there I lost myself' has been one of my favourites for over a decade now) or Muse (yes, this is a play for suggestions).
