  1. I completely missed out on tickets for The O2 2nd Law shows, so I ended up buying a ticket for each date from either Viagogo or Seatwave (I forget which), which was absolutely fine. I was let it without any issues. I am broke at the moment so won't be able to buy tickets for the April O2 shows legitimately, will I get away with buying Seatwave/ Viagogo tickets? I read that for the 'Psycho' tour they checked the ID of each ticket holder... Are they going to be doing that with these shows? If so I'm screwed right?
  2. Apologies if I have posted this is the wrong area, I haven't posted on the board for a while... 3. happy birthday!! :D

  4. When they "toured together", is that just a reference to doing some US festivals together? Is wasn't a full on "proper" tour was it? I need to get a summer job, so I can buy tickets for Brixton.
  5. Stumbled across this interview with Paul Banks (of Interpol) just now, it is from 2007 OLTA time. http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/16358105.html HUMO: The producer of ‘Our Love to Admire’ was Rich Costey, who’s particularly renowned for his work for Muse, the stadium band of the moment. Was that the deciding factor to work with him? PB: “I’m probably the only one of the band who wanted Costey for his work for Muse; the others were more interested in his work for The Mars Volta and so on. But I heard the Muse records and I knew: this sound is interesting for us. I also like them musically. That dude is a virtuoso musician. Watching Muse in a stadium is like watching Slash when I was younger. If I would be fifteen years younger, I would love it. It’s a spectacle.” A shame that Daniel, Sam (and Carlos) aren't fans, but meh. He didn't know Matt's name either Man, I love Interpol. Have Muse ever expressed an opinion of them? (Sorry if this is in the wrong area)
  6. I had a mini heart attack when I heard Microcuts on the Skins ad. I've been listening to that song, as well as Space Dementia NON-STOP recently. T'was almost as though they had read my mind Ah Maxxie. I also got a bit too excited when Muse were on at the BAFTA's..twice.
  7. Ditto. Mine was Plug In Baby (< I believe) in 2001. It was during a Top Of The Pops performance, I thought they were AMAZING and I remembered there were 3 of them and the singer had bright red hair. But I didn't do anything about it, it was only in Feb 2004 having seen numerous ads for Absolution on TV, that I thought "fucking hell they've been showing that ad 24/7, hmmm I like that song" (TIRO) so I went and bought Absolution and haven't looked back since. I then looked Muse up on an COUGHillegal file sharing programmeCOUGH and saw that they were the band that did Origin Of Symmetry, I had heard my brother and his mate (I think) mention the album. Wow long post/ramble sorry.
