I think Muse are going out to festivals next year for the money kicks.
-
I went to London last Sunday and Manchester yesterday. Both shows had setlist pros (MAJOR pros) and cons (MAJOR cons) but I enjoyed both of them thoroughly. And I don't really remember enjoying many shows from the Resistance tour, so that's something.
Also, glad I got to see them in the Manchester Arena last night. That is leagues above the O2 in so many ways.

Is anyone else getting:

Please try this event a little later, or start a new search.

Idk. I think the helmets weigh more than Bellamy so we'd need to go by mass rather than weight.
Matt would be wearing some sort of LED suit I feel. That will drag.
-
Yeah but there's 3.5 people in Muse and 2 in Daft Punk so Muse is bigger.
Well, if you put both bands on a set of scales, I can see how you would come to answer, yes...
-
I know muse is a much larger band than daft punk
Nope. In terms of mainstream popularity and single/album sales, nope.
-
Time to finally debut Prague live.
Not gonna lie, I'd be down for that.
-
So are we anticipating Muse getting announced for Download tomorrow?
Not so much anticipating as expecting.
-
They're going to play a slowed-down sludge version of Starlight for the entire set.
AHH YOU'RE HERE TOO! *points and laughs*But so are you. *points and laughs*
-
They're going to be announced for Download tomorrow.

Just thought I'd drop in and say that Unsustainable isn't on the film (just as audio in the credits). Neither is Liquid State, Unintended, Blackout, Map of the Problematique or Stockholm Syndrome.
Have nice dreams.

Hudson got knocked up by THIS?!
Geeks, the world over, must be doing :dance:in celebration. If he can get a baby, SO CAN I.
-
Don't get me wrong, I love Radiohead, but at times, they're just far too boring... And depressing. CUT
And that's where I stop listening.
-
If you want to watch what a good Glastonbury headlining set is, they're showing the Radiohead from 1997 set on BBC4 tonight.
-
Wow, I've just been reminded why I hate chemistry.

After the three Wembley Arena shows, the first three shows I saw on the Black Holes & Revelations tour I saw:
Sunburn
Muscle Museum
New Born
Bliss
Plug In Baby
Citizen Erased
Feeling Good
Apocalypse Please
Time Is Running Out
Stockholm Syndrome
Hysteria
Butterflies & Hurricanes
Take A Bow
Starlight
Supermassive Black Hole
Map Of The Problematique
Soldier's Poem
Invincible
Assassin
Exo-Politics
City Of Delusion
Hoodoo
Knights Of Cydonia
Forced In
Compare with the first three shows I saw of The Resistance tour - Teignmouth, O2 Arena, Glastonbury:
Unintended
New Born
Plug In Baby
Citizen Erased
Feeling Good
Time Is Running Out
Stockholm Syndrome
Hysteria
Starlight
Supermassive Black Hole
Map Of The Problematique
Knights Of Cydonia
Uprising
Resistance
Undisclosed Desires
United States Of Eurasia
Guiding Light
Unnatural Selection
Exogenesis: Overture
Popcorn
Where The Streets Have No Name
Regardless of what songs you like/don't like, I can hardly describe what they've become as a better band than three years ago. They've somehow gotten worse. Most of the songs they've kept from previous tours were merely staples from the previous one give or take the odd exception. There's just no surprises anymore. It's far too predictable.

Forgive me if this is a noob question,
but is Stubhub.com a safe website to use?
I wanted to do GA with my brother since I will only be going to one more concert this year. But I was an idiot and didn't ask until just a few weeks ago
Hmm, they sound very similar to Seatwave and Viagogo in the UK. My advice would be not to use it. They sound like a company with a very dodgy track record and I personally believe that no one should pay more than the asking price for a gig ticket.
My recommendation is to check MuseBay in Gigs & Tours regularly.

When's the best one?
-
It depends how many people are in the queue at that time. It shouldn't be packed but I'd expect there'd be a fair few.
All you need to do to get near the front is walk down the sides
Seriously, I don't get why more people don't use the sides. We essentially got as near to the front as it was possible (so close we spoke to Tom Kirk, yeeeeeeeah ) at the O2 and we got there just before 8pm. A similar thing happened at Placebo in the same arena a month later.
-
Crowd surfers can DIAF. I've been thumped once or twice and it ain't fun.
-
Excuse me? I am trying to be polite about this situation as I see both sides. But there is no 'end of' here. Your word goes, does it? I completely respect the first come first served, as I stated in all my posts, but I do NOT appreciate being told to shut up.
But we're not explicitly telling you to 'shut up'. Don't you dare try and twist this.
-
Cheers guys. Yeah, I have often told secturity, but they don't really give a shit, do they? I usually receive a blank stare or a shrug cause everyone 'is in the same boat'. If I see a tall person in front I will try and ask them if they mind moving, see where that gets me. Usually I will try and shuffle in at the side of them, without pissing anyone else off in the process lol
Security are helpful. I saw Placebo at the O2 in December and when things got unneccasrily stupid, a bunch of security came in. The system does work. However, if security are arses, just move to somewhere else where you can see things clearly, because the front row isn't the be all and end all of live gigs!
As for those comments back there, they were not very nice, far beyond a healthy debate, which is completely cool. So you get tired of people moaning about something, no need to be that way. Just ignore them or be diplomatic in your response, surely? They were rather mocking in the way they were written, especially the one about the the church and being commited to the ground. There is just no need. But there are a few of you who are being ultra ultra defensive, and if that's going to be the attitude, then this is the reaction you'll expect, sadly.
-
Right you are, dear. And Alex, unlike most people here, you know me and know that when it comes to Muse concerts I rarely complain about anything.
I'll keep it to myself next time.
Really?
-
I appreciate the fact that it's first come first served, but we shorter people do queue very early too. I have been at the front of the queue since 8am in the bloody morning and still had someone much stronger and bigger than me push in front, so please do not make it sound that simple. If we all got there early, we'd ALL be at the front. Impossible, of course.
As for the comments on the past two pages, they are very much uncalled for. Telling someone to stfu IS extremely rude, especially when the majority of this board complains about something or other all the time. It's like you can't have a voice.
We get it. We deal. Stop ganging up and bullying with your snide remarks. It's pretty disgusting and shocking.
You're not helping the 'ultra-defensive' Main Muse stereotype, but surely if you being unnessccarily pushed you could ask security to step in surely? And being at the front is not the only best position to see a band.
