  1. Discuss the gig here please http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=91861
  2. I'm very curious to see if the uncompressed files will actually make a difference; it seems that a lot of the lack of dynamic comes from limiters and gates used in the recording process rather than in post production. From what I could tell from the EQ graphs in Cubase they also used some sort of sinus shaped stereo pattern in what I guess is the synths. It makes for a very odd display.
  3. Well it's been properly released! I think it might actually be one of the trickier songs to date! Mind you, Explorers isn't easy either!
  4. Unfortunately the band hasn't got a public address to send things to, nor do I think they would use any lyrics other than their own. I'm going to close the thread as the question's been answered.
  5. If you listen closely you'll still hear Chris somewhere in the background
  6. I like it, however... the obvious: It's more like Radiohead post has to be made!
  7. Locked as it's answered. Post the result in the tattoo thread (other muse topics).
  8. EBS is great stuff because it works so well on bass; anything that works on bass ought to work well on guitar. The other way around: not so much. However, the other way around I've yet to see: most guitar pedals really lose bottom end fast.
  9. It'd be usable with in-ears, but you can't do any feedback things obviously, and band members won't hear you on stage if you don't have proper monitors.
  10. Please don't reply to the bots, but just report them. Thank you.
  11. Voshkod: it's really a lot better than the bass big muff; really PHAT!
  12. I have had the f/4 70-200 IS which was great, and now the f/2.8 IS (mark I) and it's an absolute killer lens. I always by my lenses second hand, as I feel that they are great despite being used before. You could do that, and see if you can add the 16-35 (for example) for some wide angle loving (although you have the 17-40 right?). My setup now is 60D, Tokina 11-16 (will keep it on FF as a 16mm prime until I can upgrade), Canon 24-70 f/2.8 (mark I), Canon 50mm f/1.4 (usually used around f/2.0) and the zoomlens. Lenses are the most important I've noticed, and I can't really fault any of these for concert use.
  13. Cool, I have the Canon 60D myself; love taking concert photos, but there was no way I could do (just) that for a living. It doesn't combine well with teaching either
