  1. So I'm still learning the ropes of livejournal again so here are direct links to 18 photos I shrunk down and tweaked to look better. Enjoy http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image1.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image2.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image3.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image4.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image5.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image6.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image7.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image8.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image9.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image10.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image11.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image12.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image13.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image14.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image15.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image16.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image17.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/punk4/muse0/Image18.jpg
  2. I haven't been able to upload yet, but I di dfind out my livejournal does still exist, so hopefully I'll have a few up there later tonight. And if anyone wanted to know the music that the Mod Club was playing before the Exit came on I just found out it was from Snow Patrol's latest album . I REALLY enjoyed the music the Mod Club played before each set, really wicked. http://www.livejournal.com/users/psykodelicteddy/
  3. AMAZING. That's all I can say. It felt like a religious experience for me, lol. Beyond, it was the best show I've ever seen, beating out Silverchair in Brisbane, Australia. I was on the right side up where the table were up against the barrier so I was pretty damn close, which made everything so much better. I never knew I could scream so loud and move so much in my life! They HAVE TO come back to tour here, no if's, 'and's, or 'but's, they have too. My ears haven't rang so much in my life but everything was worth it. And the music the Mod Club was playing before the concert started was really, really good too. I might just go back there. Now a question, did Muse seem generally surprised with the positive responce we were giving them? They were all smiles and stuff The plave wher eI was it was wicked seeing the crowd respond to Muse, everyone was getting into the show I'm trying to upload the photos now and I'll see if I can get some up tonight. Oh! Canadian I think I saw you @ Ossington Station. I didn't see anyone from the board at the show, or at least I'm sure, but yeah, I was with anothe girl going westbound on bloor, we might have been loudish and stuff, lol.
  4. I'm SO excited right now I was flipping last night b/c I realized that Muse is our country. Too much excited meant from that realization and a new Alias episode, lol By now they should be here in Toronto, even more excited about that and with everyone and their collective happiness and excitement I'm too close to going bonkers with the happy I'm still not sure if I can make it to the interview, but I will try. My friend may not even get here (my current home in Toronto until I move back home tomorrow) until 5, and if she makes it here by 5 I'll be @ the studios by 6. But she may not even get here until 6 and if that what happens then I'll be heading straight to the Mod Club. Either way I hope to get to the Mod Club line-up by 7. I'll run, do whatever, to get there early enough to gaurantee me and my friend to see the show I only have a digital camera so I'll be bringing that, good news is that I'll upload the images, hopefully by tomorrow night, somewhere for everyone to see It has an excellent zoom I'll be wearing this so everyone can find me: - Black velvet dress coat and black dress shirt w/ black tank top underneith. My necklace has a black and white tie on it and my watch is big and black with 'I love Dorks" on it. My hair will be down and in its usual curly state and my shoes are black converses w/ flames on them. So please come and say hi, I'd love to meet everyone and WAHOOOOOOOOO!!!! Finally is all I can say, FINALLY. OH! and pray for no rain while we're in line up. P.S. Any word yet if they'll be merch there?
  5. I hope so too, as long as it's not a video camera everything should be alright. I'm move freaked over the fact it's most likely going to storm tomorrow, light show and warm weather and all. If it does pour, best tip: bring garbage bags with ya or a dispoable poncho. It rained all four hours I was in line-up for the Silverchair concert back in May and the rain poncho and garbage bag saved us. We weren't completely dry but we managed to squeeze about 10 ppl under the make-shift shelter and not be drenched.
  6. Info a/b the Mod Club is be found here: http://www.toronto.com/profile/857154/ I still don't know if I'm going to the interview but if I were to go i'd prolly start hanging out around there around 5 PMish. Gotta always get there early for a good spot, something I learned from my teenybopper days.
  7. A meet up is an excellent idea. I'm not 100% sure if I'll be @ the interview, but I will be in the line-up hopefully by 7:30 @ the Mod Club. Here's a link to my TIG profile with my photo on it. http://profiles.takingitglobal.org/kaela
  8. It's spreading.... Time is Running Out was just on the Wedge again and someone else mentioned that they did chart on the Edge's countdown. Maybe more Canadians are catching on...
  9. Holy smagoly! They're coming to the Edge! wahoo! Hmm, now I'm gonna have to chose going to the bash @ school for an hour or trying to attend the interview @ the Edge..... hard choice! hehe, really it is... Got the tickets btw, you need photo ID to pick them up and they're also checking you're age to see if you're 19+. And entrence to the show is not gauranteed, you gotta get there early to get in. Maybe that's why all the tickets are free.... oh! Batphantom, try e-mailing JD anyway, he's a nice guy and will prolly give you tickets anyway if you say how dedicated a fan you are and how shitty this whole contest thing is. Actually, anyone who doesn't have tickets should just e-mail him...
  10. the camping out idea sounds like an excellent idea, people always cancel or just don't pick up there tickets so there's bound to be some there on monday. I didn't win, which really, really sucks. But I contacted someone and managed to get two I believe. I'll prolly bring my friend, and it sounds like she wants to come, but it's still sketchy so if she doesn't want to come I'll certainly give my extra ticket away. Just don't depend on the one ticket b/c the both of us are downtown that night anyway b/c our school's having a massive year-end party. Now I'm just waiting for an e-mail telling me where & when I can pick up the tickets. I really, really, REALLY hope everyone here manages to get their hands on some tickets. I'll pray too, and I'm not religious at all (even though 15 years of the Catholic school system tried to brainwash me into being so), b/c everyone here deserves to be seeing Muse. This whole lottery thing was fucked up from the beginning and just completely unfair and any Muse fan.
  11. no tickets showing up at all.... should I start freaking now?? tomorrow, that's it and if nothing's there there's gonna be some very loud angry yells coming for downtown toronto tomorrow. p.s. the exhibit starts 3-5ish.
  12. McCaul is just east of University Ave. TTC standards, the closest subway stop is St. Patrick. Get off @ St. Patrick Station, go East on Dundas and you'll hit McCaul, on McCaul go South. It's in 100 McCaul, the main old building, it currently has the big tabletop building over it. It's right next door to the AGO. It's less then a three minute walk from the station. I'll have some more info tomorrow, I'm pretty sure it's open to the public. My teacher did say it was open to the public, but she may have meant like the public as in the school, but I doubt it
  13. I hope we find out tomorrow, this is just getting too ack to keep waiting around to find out if we have won or not. I have my two exams tomorrow so hopefully I'll have some time to check my e-mail or here to see what's going down. Canadian- that's amazing! congrats on the tickets Oh, and a little off topic. For anyone in Toronto, The Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) is having a free exhibition between 4-6 PM this Thursday. The exhibition is created by all 18 foundation year Principles of Interaction Design classes. OCAD is located on McCaul just a little south of Dundas. The more ppl that come, the better I'll post more info tomorrow after school's all done
