Her boyfriend comes to visit. They're watching the artist (of the song) on their telly, he goes out for a second and while he's gone, she reads a text on his phone that indicates he's having an affair.
He sits down again to be thrown out violently, then she gets all sad and takes a load of booze and pills.

Oh it was... it was our safety backup in case the main video went totally down the pan, which was very likely.
Yeah... but they're empty bottles stacked up and it's supposed to be a nice young lady's house and it makes her look like a lush. BUT YES... everything was deliberate... always deliberate.

That went ... okay, but we only used about 2 seconds of that footage in the final video, the main thing was filmed in our house.
It's the star of the show except for some bad things... like in one scene you see a picture rail full of beer bottles.

Secondly - yeah, I know I should go, but I really don't want to be the guy in the club with a tripod and video camera. We only get one go at it really and I'm not very good at it. Ah well, we'll see how it goes.

I'm just in full on panic about work mode now. :/ We're to film the guy performing at an open mic thing tomorrow and I have two options.
1)Go and have whatever happens be MY FAULT.
2)Trust group and ... see what happens.
Both options smell like bum.
I did have a little play of the song though, I promise I shall be productive when I'm less freaking out.

I could, but it's not the same. I'm completely ineffiecient (more so than normal) on my lappy. It's all to small and awkward for mah big meat paws.

Oh god, tell me about it. The reason I learn anything musical, well stick at it enough to get good is usually competitiveness. I HAVE to be better than other people I know. Cos I'm a mental prick. I don't care if nobody ever knows it, so long as I know I can do it, I feel better.
Once you have ability enough to play what's in your hear or improvise, you can start to have fun with playing stuff.

I think I'd go into meltdown if I had a band now, I'm barely keeping my head above water.
I would like to have one, if I found people who aren't shit. Okie dokie, I like requests. Especially those I can actually do.

Well, I didn't ditch them. See, what happened was this...
There were 4 our us in the band (after one member moved away). Me, my ex (then gf) and two other guys.
One was lazy and didn't learn songs, the other was arrogant and though he could "wing" everything. He couldn't.
So every rehearsal session was me catching them up, while my gf got fed up because she either had to stand there while I taught them songs, or keep singing the same songs over and over because they kept forgetting them.
My gf was with the arrogant one one day (they're old friends) she told him he had the biggest ego of anybody she knows (he does) because she's brutally honest and he got in a piss over it, never really spoken to her since.
So, practices became sparser and when I asked him what's going on with the band he said "Oh, nobody seemed to be arsed really so I'm focusing on another project. Just business, y'know?" I almost stabbed him in the face, couldn't even look at him the rest of the day, I was too angry.
SO, he's in this new band now ... with the other (lazy) guy from our band.
My gf and I split up a few weeks after, no more band
I'm still friends with the guys, and their band plays every week and nags all of our circle of friends to attend because they need to justify the pubs paying their wage. ¬_¬ Ego guy thinks people go to listen to the band, they go because they're being good friends.
One pub even complained to ego guy that his friends who come to watch weren't buying enough drinks. That pissed a fair few of us off.
So yeah... I'm privately very resentful of their band for fucking me over and ditching me. Wotevs.
