☹️ I wasn‘t around here during that tour, did he do it back then as well, or with other songs?
There was stuff where the band would make comments about the message board when playing a slightly off the greatest hits list at the time.
But I meant more the lack of setlist changes, odd choices, generally slower, softer pace

What do you think of the European leg of the tour so far? I thought we‘d get more rotations in the setlist, and tbh, more rocksongs.
i love the lightshow, fire, streamers .. thank god Mercy disappeared 😅 will we ever hear Ghosts and Euphoria live?
The middle of the set is dire. I really didn’t enjoy it. I am surprised at the slow pace of that part and the lack of piano is disappointing. I really thought they’d realise UD/Resistance should rotate and an extra slot for a rockier song. Especially considering how the support bands goI thought the festival sets and ST Tour were better

One slot is not enough, but we may get more in Europe 🤔
Think this was what happened with the Drones tour if I recall? It started just being Revolt/Reapers then we ended up with all sorts of stuff coming through including rare performances of Panic Station, Supremacy, Defector, Assassin, Sunburn

Up to 20 inches of snow and blizzard conditions expected in Minneapolis by Thursday. Hope the snow plows clear Interstates 90 and 94 in Wisconsin and Minnesota before Sunday's concert at Target Center. Saturday's gig at United Center is close to sell out.
Looking forward to hearing Bring Me To Life from Evanescence and possibly the debut of Verona from WOTP. My last concert at this venue in 2013 we got MOTP, Stockholm Syndrome, and Sunburn on the setlist.
I’d love to see Sunburn again. Saw it at my first 4 gigs but now not since 2007. Got USoE on the 2nd Law show I went to.

Best - Nottingham Arena 2003 or Wembley Stadium Night 2 2010
Worst - London o2 arena night 1 2009 by quite some distance. Nottingham Arena 2006 was also disappointing (BHaR in full off the cuff so bad version of Exo-Politics, weird flow, only gig on the leg of the tour with no Bliss). Also Glastonbury 2010 was boring despite Citizen Erased.
The last two gigs (Cologne Stadium 2019, Tempelhof Festival) have been decent, definitely above average

Decent gig. Citizen Erased was great to see again.
A guy not far from me thought Prelude was going to be Space Dementia.
The pyro during Madness made me start laughing

I am there. I hope the SD/CE rotation is back. There’s really no need for Madness in that set

It's their worst opener for sure, bumping Supremacy off that spot.
I'm very curious how they justify the Will of the People chant's similarity to the beautiful people. It's not possible not a single band member or person involved in creating the album didn't notice the similarity. So either they asked permission, they consulted a music lawyer to make sure it was different enough, or they're gambling that they'll get away with it. It seems that about a fourth of the FB comments under the post with the song's video are jokes about copyright infringement.
We all know Muse likes to "borrow", so this is nothing new. But jeeeezz has their source of 'inspiration' taken a dive with Manson. Rachmaninoff, Bach, Tchaikovski, RaTM, John Williams, Vangelis, Marilyn Manson.
Speaking of borrowing, I just watched Squid Game for the first time and now I know where the WoTP mask and outfit inspiration came from. Though interestingly in that show it's the elites in power who mask up, not the oppressed.
The Psycho riff always makes me think of Disposable Teens

It’s alright. I like the heavy parts and was expecting worse from a lead single of the 9th album.

How I would have fixed the ST setlist:
Intro Music
Blockades
Pressure
Psycho
Break it to Me
Uprising
Bliss
Starlight
Plug In Baby
Isolated System+The Void
The Dark Side
Supermassive Black Hole
Hysteria
Thought Contagion
Unsustainable
Monty Jam
Dig Down
Sunburn
Madness
Mercy
Time Is Running Out
New Born + Head Up Riff
Take a Bow
Algorithm
Stockholm Syndrome + Assassin/Reapers/The Handler/Micro Cuts riffs
Knights of Cydonia

My view from Cologne - weird. Not bad but very weird. The best songs were Plug in Baby and Hysteria. No weirdness like absailing ghost busters or zombie trumpeters, just well performed good songs

Matthew heard you guys. Yesterday they dropped Undisclosed Desires andthey replaced it by......nothing.
They must increase a bit more the number of song, it is still ridiculous for a 8-LP band.
It's more the choices they make than the number of songs. This is like The Resistance all over again

I was hoping for The Void and Blockades to be added. Looks like a nice tequila break after Unsustainable...
-
Hahaha this is exactly my opinion. First 5 then skip to Blockades and the Void

Would do morally questionable things to see Black Holes in full
If they had actually planned to do it rather than last minute changing the setlist
