Ummmm I can't decide. I didn't like drones. But I think that was because I was somehow disappointed that it wasn't heavier hahahaaaa. Straight away my brain clung to The Handler and Reapers and binned the rest. But Listening back to a couple of tracks it's actually crispy as fuck and I don't know what I was thinking. So this is hard... Maybe Matt is right with his 'fans are 5 years behind' theory after all hahaha

Aw yay! I have been thinking I need to do a mix cd for my niblings, they're getting to the age where they should be hearing some real music appreciation. Aw yes that softness and vulnerability... I missed that so much in the last few years wish my musical theatre kids were older & rock fans and not 8 year olds who only care about George Ezra because life is a broken simulation I'm unable to feeeel is a perfect dark vocal warm up. But you just adore... ie: - the little tiny backing vocals in the last 'you can't lose' bit of pwopaganda - The way Matt's voice breaks when he says 'lost' in the chorus of Get Up and Fight - 'you've been bitten by' - The Void - 'they'll say' makes me so happy. He makes it sound like he's so emoshe, I just love it - I've spent a good 10 minutes just rewinding the line 'life is a broken simulation I'm unable to feeeeeel' about 50 times. A vocalist's dream Ok I listed all vocal things because I've been doing a lot of singing work but it can be any little tiny thing you love come on let's flog this dead horse (board, not album) some more
