I went to this venue for Muse in 2012.
Security told early queuers to go to one door (to the left as you look at the venue). The queue built up here all day. Some people decided to wait at the outside door on the opposite side (to the right as you look at the venue)because they said it was always opened. Most people were still being directed to the first door, even right up until just before the doors opened.
You can go "inside" part of the venue to use the loo etc while queuing and there was also a door in there which very late in the day had a couple of people queuing. They said there was also a door on the opposite side "inside". Both of these went to the garage? So that's 4 entrances.
There were barriers set up outside to filter the queues there.
The first door was probably the last to open. It was a right mess up.
Can't say about the cloakroom as kept everything with me.
Of course this could all be different now but forewarned is forearmed

I'm very interested, just messaged you about it on fcb
Oh I haven't seen that - let me check. Have now replied :-)

Hi, guys, me again. Just wanted to let you know that I'm officially interested in buying 2 standing tickets to this show. Preferably from someone from Poland, but not necessarily
I have two GA tickets for sale because some friends cannot come
They are Will Call so have to be collected on the day which will mean that you must meet me at the venue.
You can pay on the day but if we agree to meet, you must be there at the correct time which will be before the doors open
Face value - let me just check how much that was in euros. They were 63 euros each (face value + the booking fees) so two tickets would be £126 euros.

I thought Tom's video was absolutely hilarious. Still laughing now when I think about it.

Apparently the gig is June 21st now...
Isn't that the date of the Hurricane festival? It was mentioned somewhere in a discussion about the possibility of a gig in Bremen.
Edit: that doesn't mean that Muse are playing it! Was just (excuse the pun) musing.
-
If this has nothing to do with Muse I'm sure those 3 bands will be thrilled to play to a half empty room because the people who bought tickets for "Muse" won't show up.
I was thinking that!

A lecture at a university
Can't understand why that would mean a gig though.
I am just imagining how hard that lecture would be to follow

TCT fits in perfectly around the time they'll (or at least Matt, anyway) will be in Dublin. Though a Dublin gig is more likely than TCT imo.
Why is Matt going to be in Dublin? (I don't keep up with much general news)
-
I have a sneaky feeling they could play the TCT gigs at the Albert Hall in March.
That would be ace!
-
Not if you have to give the name of both people attending when you book the tickets. Muse did that for the gig at L'Olympia in Paris and there were no tickets resold.
Yep that works As long as you know who is buying the tickets for who!
-
I definitely see why it'd be one ticket per order but that's really shitty. I know a lot of Muse couples (myself included) that would die to go to these gigs together.
It can work with one ticket per order. Nothing to stop you going together except you have to get your own ticket. I don't recall Muse ever doing a one ticket per person thing though. Normally they are pairs.
-
I want to see them period.
But in seriousness there shouldn't be join date restrictions other than the obvious a couple of weeks or more before the announcement date.
This is what will happen. It's always the way.
-
Tickets should be one per person and named and cancellable if it turns out you can't go. That is the only way to prevent ticket touts.
As soon as you give someone the capacity to buy spare tickets, there is the potential for re-sales.
One ticket per person can mean difficulties getting tickets but I'd rather know that I didn't get one because people who genuinely wanted to go had got one.
As for selection - obviously only board members who joined pre 2004 should be selected

The A303 was awesome to drive years ago. It is still a lovely drive but now it's speed limit after speed limit and that section that was the 'chicken run' has gone.
-
That explains why some bits of it look familiar.
My favourite bit is Chris Moyles lol.
-
Stopping touts getting tickets is easy.
One named ticket per person, with photographic ID required at the door.
And tickets should be able to be cancelled if you can't go so they can be sold to the next person. It should be easy for a band as big as Muse to sort this out. But
-
I always get really excited at the prospect of 'club' gigs because I love small shows.. and then I remember the odds of getting a ticket
-
*Waits for Pip to announce that she has a ticket*

Yeeeah, the crowdsurfing thing won't work with all the crazed fangirls trying to squeeze and hug him.
That's why I thought a zorbing ball would work. (Unless everyone has a pin!)
-
I think it's a reference to Unsustainable?
Hmm. Intriguing.
Though probably won't be anything too exciting after all.
-
Ok what on earth does #unsuns mean?
Steady hands needed? ooh I still have my fingers crossed for a zorbing incident
-
They will. Follow Me and Starlight proshot are already online.
I've only seen a 30 second Follow Me. Is there a full length version kicking about somewhere?
-
Not sure "win" is the correct term to be using here?
-
I did ask Morgan if it was added to the setlist because we asked for it (I told Matt, before the gig, that Dom had said they were playing it ) but unfortunately I was so pissed on the free bar that I cannot recall his answer. However, I'd like to think it was "yes".
