Psst....
I've been given word from management that there are going to be ~80 standing tickets released at 9am tomorrow. They're hoping to get these into the hands of real fans, so please don't share this on twitter, facebook, etc.

To get them you need to use this link: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/1F0052E3CD9FD64D?did=tmmuseforum
It won't be live until the scheduled onsale time (9am) and will appear as just "Full Price Tickets" once live - as there are no VIP tickets as part of this sale.
You'll have to enter a password, which is (surprise, surprise): ThePassage
Good luck!

We've done some tweaking with the anti-spam software so hopefully many more of these threads will get caught for moderation. I'm sure a few will still find their way through so we'd appreciate reports, but should be substantially less.
If you're able to recognise any common patterns on the spam that gets through do let me know so we can update/create algorithms to moderate them.

looks like May 1st.. someone I know on here said they entered a few times with the same email.. but it says one entry per email. wonder if that automatically disqualifies them..
it's done through a mailing list system so subsequent entries on same email probably update earlier data.

I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this but there's this little gig here: http://muse.mu/tour-dates,iheartradio-theater-new-york-new-york_1910.htm
And they're looking for people to come: http://iheart.muse.mu/ but shhh they only want this getting entered by actual fans good luck.

New Server
in News
Hello, sorry for the downtime today.
We're now being served off a new server (well 3 actually ). Muriel is on her way to the server heaven in the cloud.
There could be a few issues, so if you encounter any drop a reply here or let a staff member know and we'll get them sorted.
-
You could be right actually Matthijs, too many authentication fails could blacklist an IP.
futurophy, strawberry juice, and anyone else. If you could find put your ip (google: "what is my IP address") on a machine that's having problems and either pm me or email (kev@muse.mu) it and I'll check/remove it

For some reason after getting this (and it not accepting my login) a load of times
(Guessing it's not connected but I didn't want to start a new thread cause I think its just me)
Now I can't connect to specifically THIS website (the whole forum) with my WiFi internet, only with my mobile internet connection does it work
Also virgin media were doing something on our street but seeing as it's ONLY the forum I can't connect to, I thought maybe I'd see if anyone else has the same problem on here
Also tried it with Firefox (usually on chrome) on my mobile and no luck
Forgot to mention I'm getting the same problem on my desktop computer too, so must be internet based..
what do you see when it fails? any error messages or anything?
It shouldn't be related to the auth issue as that should only affect you on a browser level.
-
oh what, that's well weird :-/ I didn't see it. Seems totally different from the auth issue too
-
what skin are you using?
oh and which announcement? Where do I see it?
-
Ok, that should be fixed now. Sorry about that, seems Warners analytics script had gone nuts :-/
-
Musewiki was integrated into the previous incarnation of the official site and is currently hosted by Warner/Current Management
-
where's the rumours that they don't message boards from? is it just from boardies here stressing or an actual history?
-
Uploading images is working so the problem probably lies with your image. We could look into that but... for a dynamic image like that you need to be linking to the site rather than uploading it as if you upload the image it will never change so you want to be putting it in
-
It's sorted now
-
doh! i'm sure that will be resolved soon, i'll update you once I hear back.
-
i would think the low and high strings would be weak
Maybe it's my crappy self install sustainer effort but high and low strings aren't that great with it anyway. I think just sack the low b string and it'd be good enough performance wise.
Looks wise it'd be horrid though
-
Of course not, I'm just paranoid that I've unknowingly done something wrong is all..Just reread that thread. You're not telling me you never actually listened to the people who were arguing against you, are you?
Like I said above, take it private if you want to go through this
-
If you guys are going to discuss that can you do it in private, don't need to go through more shit here. Thanks
-
Falling Down always strikes me as the song Muse forgot about, yet tried to remake with Guiding Light. It'd be a good encore opener, and they could make the full band sections of it sound huge if they really wanted to.
Best forgotten! I used to be so good at fast forwarding that on my Walkman back in the day
-
Back on topic please. Bad vibes here today :-/
-
thanks pip, sorry for you shop problems i'm afraid we have no knowledge to help, i'll merge this with the shop thread
-

Sorry I guess Ticketmaster operates in a time zone of its own.
Everyone thanking me is very welcome, but it's management who deserves it for sorting it out. I just lazily passed along the message
