  1. Ha, on the Absolution IEM Matt says "Oh sorry it's 'nowhere left to hide'" super fast before seamlessly going into the next line. I missed that on the night and in subsequent watchings of the recordings. I hope the guy uploads the rest of the show in IEM. Lots of fascinating tidbits.
  2. Aiming to arrive mid-morning. It would be nice to be in the first 100... Also, planning on bringing an assortment of queue beers, with intent to share!
  3. That's a mighty show. Was there some reason for it being so long? And why couldn't they do that now? Have they become particularly tired / unrehearsed in the last 4 years to sustain such a set?
  4. I'm trying to console myself with the hope that Glorious isn't on the list only because the band know they're definitely going to play it no matter how many would've voted for it... Going to leave it a day or two before voting myself. There's still plenty of gold available!
  5. As has been said earlier, I think a lot depends on the implementation of the vote, e.g. will +1s get to vote. I love the idea of 40%+ of the audience being hardcore, but I think it's unlikely given +1s. If 60% of the vote is from casuals, we'd be lucky to get many B sides represented at all. The likes of Bliss and CE are well-loved by everyone, so I'd expect to see them in the final tally, even if they're low in the current fan polls.
  6. Every show that tour got Whiskey in the Jar, which was very rare beforehand. Some shows got some rarities like Frayed Ends of Sanity, but yeah it was mostly exactly the sets Lars would have written any way. That tour was all arenas and festivals though - I'm really hoping this show will have attracted a more discerning Muse fan.
  7. This is a good point, we shouldn't trust these polls as gospel. For example, only the hardcore fans are filling them in, and we can't be sure what proportion of the final audience will be hardcore - I know for example I'm taking a friend who doesn't really know many/any B sides (don't worry, he will be educated in time for the vote).
  8. Thanks for this, it helps me decide based on, as others have said, songs that have a real chance of getting played and not getting lost in a split vote. What's the Facebook group? I'd like to follow along. Is it Musers?
  9. Having skimmed through everyone's list in this thread, it seems to me the most popular pick is Showbiz. Interesting (and great of course). With so many B-sides/rarities to choose from, I'm considering rallying around the most popular 2 or 3 picks to increase their chances, before going more wild with my own personal preferences. Good strategy? I'd hate it if the split vote meant only 1 (or zero!) rarities got picked.
