  1. I would just love for them to do a by-request show in the US. I am prepared to drop as much money and go into as much debt as possible if they ever announce one of those. It is frustrating that they added Bliss to the European tour. That's one of my favorite songs that I still haven't seen live yet and it would have been a great addition to the show. Of course, I saw the only show in The Second Law tour that didn't get Bliss or New Born and the 2 shows I saw on the amphitheater tour a couple years ago didn't get Bliss either while the 2 shows that were sandwiched around those did. I guess I just don't have good luck when it comes to those songs
  2. Went to the show in DC last night and it was fantastic. Sure, I wish we could have got The Void and Blockades but it was still fun. I wasn't sure how I would feel only getting portions of New Born, Assassin, etc. Going into it I think I would have preferred the whole song, but they played enough of each song in that medley that I enjoyed it a lot. I also forgot how much I enjoyed "Unsustainable" when it's played live. My only gripe was the stretch of Dig Down/Madness/Mercy. It didn't really fit with the rest of the show. Other than that, I had a great time. I put that show up there with the T2L tour show I saw in Oslo. It was definitely better than the 2 amphitheater shows I saw back in 2017.
  3. I'm a fan of this album as a whole. Pressure is growing on me although the chorus doesn't quite do it for me. Dig Down is as 'meh' as it was a year and a half ago. I also can't stop listening to The Void. Holy shit that one is good.
  4. That was so much fun to watch. It was a great set and I thought that Thought Contagion sounded pretty good. However... That comment after Space Dementia pissed me off, though. I've listened to Origin of Symmetry more than any other album combined. Maybe you should actually play some of these songs when you come to the US instead of phoning these sets in and shitting on us when you do play these songs.
  5. Anyone know if there will be a way to watch this later? Not going to be around to watch it live
  6. As a Muse fan living in America, you could not have been more spot on with this post. While I enjoy the song, the message is a little lost on me because of the things you outlined above. Well done.
  7. So it will be Starlight, TIRO, Mercy, Globalist, Uprising, Knights to close it out.
  8. Consider yourself lucky, OP. Look up the sets from Nashville and Atlanta this year and you'll see what I got (although I was glad to get the Handler). Also the show I saw in Norway in '13 was pretty much the only show on tour that didn't get any of Bliss/New Born/Maps. So sometimes you can get dicked on European shows, too. That being said, I've always had a great time at a Muse show and will still go when they come back to the states.
  9. Yeah there's also that factor, too.
  10. The TAB stuff is awesome. I think the main limiting factor in these visuals staying around is how accommodating these amphitheater stages are. For instance, I don't think the stage in Nashville was covering enough to have those overhead lasers where Atlanta would have been able to just fine. I don't think Red Rocks has the stage setup to do it either if my memory serves me correctly.
  11. Yeah I could have sworn that showed up on setlist.fm for a minute. That or I can't read.
  12. Damn apparently they played Easily again, too.
  13. Yeah he did it at the Nashville and Atlanta shows, too. I enjoyed that version of it.
  14. Must be nice to get sets like that 2 gigs in a row. I went to 2 this summer and got the same damn setlist with no Bliss or SS.
  15. Yeah they will go back to playing Resistance, PIB, and Globalist and maybe throw Bliss in a couple of times. Gonna be the same old shit over here.
  16. Pumped for everyone that got to witness that. I was in the Atlanta IKEA when the concert started so I sat down in the store and watched while my wife shopped. I was pumped when they led off with Assassin and by the time they got through Dead Star and Muscle Museum I was so fired up I was ready to start breaking couches and shit. I'm forever envious of those who were in attendance.
  17. Have fun tonight everyone. I'm jealous that I'm stuck in America for this. Hopefully Muse Snapchat or Instagram will post enough clips so that I can experience it in a small way. Excited for everyone that gets to go.
  18. Yeah that would suck. 3 songs in and you have to cancel because of lightning.
  19. Exactly. Taking Webster Hall for example, hopping on a flight to New York from Tennessee isn't easy and it definitely isn't cheap. I lucked out for this tour because they played Nashville and Atlanta and those are both 2 hour drives for me. The closest Drones tour location was about 7 or 8 hours away so I missed out last time they were in the states.
  20. I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to Dig Down. Not much of a fan of it as an opener but it's not a terrible song by itself. I do know that I saw an Instagram comment about the song that just said "Diiiick toooown" and I'll never think of it the same again, so there's that.
